I have a little boy myself, 3 months on the 19th! It's a beautiful age.
Oh they grow way too quickly for my liking! i was just admiring your baby cocoons :) I've made a couple for the new baby, not sure they will get used if we end up with another heat wave like we've had. Did you find your's really useful?
I've crocheted one and the other is in a knitted rib. Both with bulky yarns. I think the 8ply would be a better choice.
